Horseracers in UK are keen to retrive interest in the Derby, while borrowing ideas from other popular sports such as
golf and tennis. Now offering a whopping £2 in prices for the champion horse of the group one races for the overall season.
Prices part of a £10m pot
Well, actually, the prices are part of a £10 pot - double the amount offered before. From 2010 the events will get a new name, Sovereign Series. Why they decided to change the name is unclear.
