WSOP - Poker tournament finals

Every year, Las Vegas lights up for the biggest poker tournament in the world, WSOP or World Series of Poker. This is a very prestigious poker competition with the best players from all over the world.

It was recently decided that Erick Lindgren (swedish site) was voted the poker player of the year. Not long after him came the Scotty Nguyen, a very popular character that built up world famous poker sayings like ‘It’s poker baby’.

Betting company Bwin can continue with internet betting

Reuters is reporting that the Austrian online betting group Bwin has won the right to continue to offer sports betting in Germany despite efforts by German state protectionist concerns to stop them. Bwin has been involved in several legal fights against German state monopolies and will continue to operate under a license issued before reunification has been judged valid by a regional court.
